3D Cone Beam Scanning

Using 3D imaging technology, we can detect and diagnose potential problems earlier, and then review your accurate, detailed digital scan with you so you can better understand your oral health.

We use the GE Instrumentarium Orthopantomograph OP100 3D Cone Beam scanner during our treatment to produce a 3D analysis of your mouth to improve the diagnosis of hidden issues such as impacted teeth, craniofacial anomalies, facial discrepancies, and bone irregularities or malformation, such as TMJ.

Cone beam CT scans provide more information than conventional dental x-rays, allowing for more precise treatment planning. CT scanning is painless, non-invasive, and accurate. A major advantage of CT is its ability to image bone and soft tissue at the same time.
